Account settings
Once you have registered on this site, you can change settings to control information about yourself and also your use and experience of this site.
To edit your settings:

Below are the settings you can change in your account.
username
You can change your username.
email address
You can change the email address you use to receive information and updates. The e-mail address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by e-mail.
password
Enter in a new password in both fields to set it. When you register, the site sends you a default password that is often hard to remember, so it is recommended that you change your password to something you can easily remember.
picture
You can upload a picture of yourself, though it is not required. This will show up on your forum posts, as well as your profile page.
comment settings
If comments are enabled, you will be able to set a default signature. This will be copied into new comments for you automatically, but may still be edited.
time zone
This will cause all dated content on the site to display in local time, according to the offset you enter here.
Aside from the account settings link underneath the "edit" tab, you will also see additional links, for example "Personal Information", "Workplace", etc. These allow you to enter more information about yourself.
To edit your settings:
- Make sure you are logged in
- Click on "my account" in the menu that is under your user name.
- On the main part of the page, above your unername, you will see three tabs. Click on the edit tab.
